Well here in the Highlands we get into some great conversations with people who come in the shop, what music they like, who they have seen, who they have met......and even who they have worked for.

Through these conversations you get to know what peoples music tastes what there Favourite Albums are and I have read no end of articles like "100 albums to listen to before you die" or top 100 albums ever. Well in this short blog I am sharing my favourite albums, hey what are your? ....Some might be in the top 100 or 500, or they might be obscure, if you enjoy listening to them please let us know and if you can explain why that would be great.........but not essential.

So I will start.

Michael Jackson Thriller - Well as I was growing up Michael Jackson was always on the radio, TV or on an advert getting his hair burnt. For me Thriller, Beat It and Billie Jean are just fantastic and them along with other great tracks just mean it is at the moment in my top three albums i enjoy listening to.

Mylo - Destroy Rock & Roll - I was going through some bad times in 2005 when I started listening to this, that wasn't the reason i listened to the them, I connected with Drop the Pressure, loved it and went and purchased the CD to listen to some more of tracks, and I was not disappointed, what an album it is from Muscle Cars to Valley of the Dolls, just superb, if ever I want loud electronic dance music....then this is the album for me, give it a go.

Fleetwood Mac - Rumours - I have to put my hands up I have only in the last year started to appreciate how good this album is, I sell many new and used copies in the shop..........and online and I now understand why. Dreams, Go your own way, actually all of the songs are great, not one for me is under a 9 out of 10, so easy to listen to, problem for me if I play it too much it sticks in my head and if have a restless night it is going round and round in my head.

Please share your three albums you enjoy listening too and why.
